From 8-11 May the 33rd European Immunogenetics and Histocompatibility Conference took place in Lisbon under the motto “Functional Immunogenetics: the historical challenge”.

At the conference we presented the results of our research work, which once again examines Cooley and Miller’s approach to stem cell transplantation of AML and MDS patients, as a poster entitled “Donor KIR-Haplotype B Content does not Impact on Outcome after Unrelated Hematopoietic Stell Cell Transplantation in a Large Cohort of Patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia or Myelodysplastic Syndrome”.
